Compatibility SEL14TC and SEL20TC

I note the compatibility comments on these TCs on the Sony website.  Are they compatible (optically, I am less concerned with AF etc) with lenses mounted on the LAEA3 and LAEA4 mounts for the A-mount lenses?  There would appear to be enough physical clearance with the LAEA3 but the translucent assembly in the LAEA4 might be an issue.  Also, would they work with third party lenses (eg OM, Nikkor, Canon) mounted on adapters which have sufficient physical clearance to accept the forward protrusion of these TCs?  Most grateful for advice from Sony or those who have trodden these paths.

The SEL14TC is listed here as compatible with E-mount Full Frame cameras and E-mount APS-C cameras, and similarly the SEL20TC info is here. Unfortunately, we are unable to advise you on third party lenses but maybe some other members will have some experience to share.
