Imaging Edge : rendering difference between viewer and exported file

Hello,

I'm using Imaging Edge (the latest version), et i've noticed a slight difference between the rendering of the viewer in Edit mode and the rendering when exporting the file (in jpeg or in tiff, all modes tested). I'm using it since my recent acquisition of a Sony A6300, it allows me to have a rendering that is similar to the jpeg out of camera.

For the Edit viewer, the color space used is sRGB. And in export, the color space is also in sRGB. So i don't think it is a settings issue.

Here is a screenshot of the Edit viewer, which has the correct rendering :ImagingEdgeEditViewer.png

Here is a screenshot of the Windows viewer of an exported file to jpeg (highest quality), which is showing a slight color shift in the black (slighty blue), there is other difference (like the red having orange, the contrast varying) : ImagingEdgeExportedJpeg.png

I don't understand why i have those difference, nor if there is a way to correct them ?

If needed, i can send the ARW file and the settings xml used for the settings of the Edit.

Thanks in advance for your help !

(I have also asked the same thing in the french community, but there is no solution yet...)

Hi kiezan_k,

Welcome to our community!

I'd recommend reporting this issue to Sony technical support team to have them look into the issue further. Here's the link to the contact info page on Sony's website.

Cheers
