LA-EA3 with Sigma lenses

I have a Sony A7 MK3 with  A mount lenses. They are Sigma APO DG 70-300mm and Sigma EX10-20mm DC lenses.

I have bought the LA-EA3 adaptor. The long lens is now manual focus only, the wide angle is manual focus with massive vignetting. Is getting the LA-4 going to help or is this something I must live with without buying new lenses? Phil

Hi @phil2602, welcome to the Community.

People get the LA-EA4 for the ability to autofocus and to gain a bit of light/IQ due to the lack of a pellicle mirror. I don't believe there is any significant difference in the physical profile of the mount, which might reduce vignetting.

If it's any consolation, this is typically the case with wide lenses and while you might be able to find a lower-profile 3rd party adaptor, it's unlikely it would completely resolve the problem.
