Live view on A6500

HI, I have just picked up an A6500 and I am wondering if it possible to focus manually with live view on the screen whilst using a 10 stop ND filter? Or do you have to focus your shot and then add the filter?

I don't see anything in the Help Guide that says you can't focus with the filter already on:
