PMB & IPhones

Hi All,

many thanks for those who helped with my previous dilema regarding the PMB checker. I now have another problem.

I also use an iphone4 when im out and havent got my alpha with me. Previously the pmb picked up the media from this but is no longer doing so, any suggestions would be welcome.

(PS Thanks to Blencogo for the welcome in my last topic, again apologies for non response, wasnt ignorant mate just in hosp. escaped now tho' lol)

Hi Paul,

As a fellow iPhone 4 user, I have found that occasionally these issues are caused by a USB port not functioning correctly on your PC. Have you tried an alternative just in case?

In any case, the iPhone is designed to only really work with iTunes for transferring (or 'synching') files. Because of this, there are no guarantees that a particular version of PMB will work with it and, as Blencogo points out in this thread ......

...... you are better off using iTunes to sync photos to your computer.

Thanks

Simon
