Shake reduction mode in A7 iii (Handheld Twilight mode)?

I'm a recent owner of an A7III.

I had been using NEX-6 for several years beforehand and one of the really cool features it had was a handheld night shooting mode (twilight mode). In that mode, the camera was shooting 6 frames in a row and then was 'averaging' them producing a much clearer picture. Practically, it allowed one to take usable photos at low light situations without using a tripod.

Does the A7III have anything similar to that? So far, I haven't spotted anything close to that (but the menus are rather complex, so I might have missed something).

If the feature is not available in A7III, is there any chance we'll see it in a future firmware update?

Thanks!

I'm looking into this and will update the thread when I have further information for you.

Best wishes,

Honestly, I'm not sure if something like that exists, I'd recommend using a combination of settings to achieve the same if not better quality, try using SteadyShot On + High ISO NR (Normal or Low depending on the amount of light)

The A7III doesn't have that feature. With the larger and newer design sensor you should be able to get clean results in a single shot by using a higher ISO setting - I've happily gone to ISO 12,800 on mine. Also, the camera has built-in anti-shake, Steadyshot Inside in Sony language.
