Sony a7 III hot shoe adater

I have a Metz flash for my Canon 7D. I want to use it on my new Sony A7 III. Do anybody know about an suitable adapter?

On Ebay I find a "Hot Shoe Mount Adapter for Canon Metz Flash on Sony NEX-C3 3C 3N 5C 5N 5T Camera". Is that a solution, or are the hot shoes of those Sony cameras different from the A7 III hot shoe?

The Sony cameras you mention do not have a hotshoe but a specific flash adaptor instead so I don't think the advertised flash would work.

The good news is that the A7III hotshoe has industry standard flash contacts so if the Metz worked in your Canon it should work on your A7III, in manual flash mode at least.
