Sony Camera Firmware Updates for MacOS 10.14 (Mojave)

Hi

I am wanting to update the firmware on my A7iii to the v2 version that has just been released but there doesn't seem to be a supported download for MacOS 10.14.  I've tried to run the download for 10.13 but that doesn't work.

Does anyone know when the version for MacOS 10.14 is likely to be available?

Hi Stuart,

The latest version of the system software update is compatible with the following Macintosh versions - Mac OS X v.10.11 / Mac OS 10.12 – 10.13.

It might be best to speak to the support team who should be able to advise you on this here.

Thank you for the reply.  I have already tried contacting Sony Support but they were not able to help.  

I am running 10.14 Mojave on my Mac so need a v2 Sony firmware update for that OS release.

Hi A65Woodley,

At this point I don't think there are other options but to wait for the update to be released or to find a way to use a different computer running the older MacOS version to use for installing the update to your camera (or maybe a Windows PC)
