Hi Paul,

The DSC-WX150 digital compact is not really designed for capturing action photographs but as an excellent pocket camera for everyday use.  However it does have an "Anti Motion Blur" option from the scene selection features that will make the camera track motion better.

It also depends on the subject and how it is moving in the frame as to how much blur you get.  If it is moving across the frame from left to right or the reverse you can track the subject with your camera and press the shutter button at the right moment.  This will help reduce blur but it is coming towards you then you are in the hands of the AF system tracking the subject.

You did not mention what your subjects are, this might help forum members offer more specific help.

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Kind regards

Si
