Hi piola1969 and welcome.

The easiest way will depend on what other equipment you already have.  Your TRV27 has both Digital (DV) and Analogue outputs so it will depend on what you want to do.

If you want to transfer the video to a computer for editing before burning to DVD you will need to use the digital output (DV) and connect to your PC using an iLINK (firewire) cable.  The video and sound can then be imported and edited using Windows MovieMaker or other editing software.  This depends on your PC having an iLINK port.

If you just want to copy the video to DVD, it may be simpler to use a DVD Recorder if you have one for recording TV programs.  You can use either an Analogue cable (most DVD Recorders have analogue inputs) or a digital iLINK cable if your DVD Recorder has this connection.

We can probably give better advice if you answer a few questions: -

  1. Do you have a PC, what operating system does it have, does it have a iLINK input, does it have any other analogue inputs?
  2. Do you have a DVD or Hard Disc TV Recorder, does it have analogue inputs, does it have a iLINK unput.
  3. What cables do you have for the camcorder?
  4. How much editing do you want to do?
