How can i connect a windows vista pc to my har-lh500 hard disk recorder/cd player?

It uses  M-crew software but vista doesn't accept the drivers. I've searched the web but can't find any vista drivers. Can anyone help?

Hi, I had the same problem & (as far as I could ascertain) Sony lost interest in their audio hard drives a while back & stopped supporting the HAR-LH500 & HAR-D1000 - so no drivers for VISTA etc....

I ended up buying a cheap netbook running Windows XP (from ebay). I loaded my old m-crew software onto it & now I just use it for my HAR-D1000 - perfect. I could be wrong but I never had any luck getting new software...

Hi,

I've tried to get the M-Crew software running on my XP Netbook, but it fails duirng installation saying it does not like XP. In the end I got the various modules installed separately, but then at the point of connection it aborts.

I dont have copies from the old Windows 2000 days, hence the question, is there some idea as to how I get this running properly?

Regards
