Help please

I have downloaded the firmware1.05 to my MAC PPC G4 laptops desktop but notice the file size to be 8.3Mb the instructions from Sony show the file size to be 8.32Mb which is not a lot off difference but will it affect the update to the DVD.

Instructions and smaple screen are for a Windows PC, probably the MAC properties are sligthely different. Check if the actual size in byte is exactly the same (8.726.756 bytes): I would look for the file size since maybe also the allocation on disk could be different from MS to Apple...
