RDR-HX525 HDD recorder - Digital Switchover

I cannot get this machine to perform it's digital switchover and load the Electronic Programme Guide. Has anyone had any success.

I am not sure I understand the question.  Your recorder is not digital so I do not know how you can perform a digital switchover.

I have the same problem with my RDR-HX725, this is now connected to a Sony Bravia KDL-40S5500 TV which has a digital freeview tuner, also connected to a Virgin Cable set top box. From the manual it appears the RDR-HX725 should be able to recognise the digital tuner in my TV, has anyone managed to get the RDR-HX725 to pick up digital TV, if so how did they do it?
