I HAVE THE RHT G950 HOOKED UP TO MY KD49X8505  AND BDP S72000 VIA HDMI

MY QUESTION IS WHEN PLAYING 4K MASTERED BLU RAY WILL I LOOSE FULL 4K BENIFITS AS AS FAR AS I CAN SEE THE RHT G950 HDMI SOCKETS SUPPORT UPTO 1080P

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRICIATED

My guess would be that if you are connecting a 4k device to a non 4k device then yes you would loose some of the benefits. For full compatablity all products need to be 4k compliant or at least have the ability to pass-through a 4k signal. Check your device to see if it supports 4k pass-through.

Hi there

 

You will need to connect your BDP-S7200 bluray player directly to the TVs HDMI port to get the support for "Mastered in 4K" for the best picture. 

 

Remember to set Scene Select to "Cinema" and enable Mastered in 4K in the picture Settings of the TV
