Sony UBP-X800M2

I have a Samsung HW-S60A soundbar and my Sony UBP-X800M2 Blu-ray player will not connect via Bluetooth, I can connect my phone to it, so I don't think it's the soundbar, I have another soundbar a Sony HT-SF200 and it connects no problem, it seems the Sony Blue ray player doesn't like Samsung products. I have updated both the Blu-ray player and the soundbar to the latest firmware but apart from that any tips?

Did you follow the Bluetooth steps showing in page 17? It tells you what you need to do exactly for it to work. Also, make sure that the Samsung SB isn't connected to other devices at that point and it's in pairing mode.

Yes, I have done all that, removed all previous pairings and like I said, I have a Sony Soundbar that pairs with the Sony Blu Ray player no problem and my phone connects with the Samsung Soundbar no problem either. It's just the Sony player and the Samsung soundbar won't connect by Bluetooth.

Hey, try and check the troubleshooting steps on page 29 and the bluetooth specifications on page 32. Maybe they have a different Bluetooth version.
