STR-DN860 doesn't play voices on mkv with AAC 5.1

Dear community,

I have several issues from time to time with audio format like AC3-DTS and 5.1. The amp dosen't playes the voices. I have all the other sounds exept the voices.

The last one was tricky...The video is played on a mac with vlc. It's a mkv container. Audio spec are :

- Container :  Matroska
- Format :  AAC 5.1 - MPEG-4 audio
- Profil d'encodage :  Low Complexity
- Nbre de canaux :  5:1 - 6 canaux
- Position des canaux :  Front: L C R, Side: L R, LFE

Changing audio parameters with vlc doesn't resolve issues.

Without tha amp, the audio output on the mac is perfect... when I plug the hdmi... voices disappear. All options on audio on the amp has no effect at all.

Any clue ?

That's a weird one, have you performed a speaker test to make sure your centre speaker is working? Do the voices come back when you use your televisions speakers?
