subwoofer cable BDV-E380

Hi,

Is it possible to lengthen the cable of a BVD-E380 home cinema system, by cutting the cables and lengthen it, but without affecting the sound quality?

Thanks,

JJ

Hi,

there seems to be two separate questions your asking there, which one are you doing?, the sub or the speakers?, in any event if they are all speaker wires then yes you can, make sure you keep them the right way round, bare, twist and solder the joins carefully, or if your lazy just twist them together and tape them with black ptfe sticky tape and your done!

some units use a different cable for sub woofers these are of RCA type connections, if that is the case on yours you will need to purchase a longer RCA type lead available from most outlets.
