I will be ordering a KDL55HX853 in the next week or so and wanted to check if anyone knew where I could get a replacement stand. According to the Sony rep. in Currys the Sony KDL55HX850 stand will fit if I could get one. This TV seems to be available everwhere except the UK. Sony US will not post parts outside the USA so no luck there.
The TV will sit on a cabinet and be connected to surround sound so I can live without the 'sound bar' stand the TV comes with. I like the regular stand but my wife isn't so keen so I said I would see about an alternative.
Any ideas greatly received and thanks for any responses.
