So where is it on my 2010 Bravia.

I simply refuse to believe that the architecture of these receivers isn't compatible.We've had the disappointment of the IPTV incompatibility. Not this as well surely.

If so the Olympics are going to be dismal on these receivers.

Unfortunately it's not always possible to backport services to previous generation models. We always look to, but as broadcasters and aggregators start utilising new technology and features that's incompatible, it's simply not possible. As there are no common standards either, no-one is building to a common specifications ( broadcasters seemingly ignoring some of the elements in D-book 7) and so every app needs a fair amount of customisation which makes it harder still.

Not good enough, these services were envisaged, the receivers should have been built with sufficient memory and processing power to accomodate. All ONDigital boxes made in 1997 accomodated all services until 2003, six years, for Sony to sell sets which become obsolete within 18months really isn't good.

When are 2011 models going to suffer the same fate?
