Bravia KDL-40HX800 vs. Samsung Galaxy SII, communication problem

Hello there,

How in the universe can I get a picture signal on my Bravia from my Samsung Galaxy SII ??  I am using a special dong from Samsung; HDTV Adapter, that is of course connected to HDMI plug on the TV, then plugged into the mobile using micro HDMI and also the charger or USB cable.  I have tried three HDMI inputs already but without any luck.  However, when the mobile has been plugged in, the TV shows a message "HDMI x  player 1 (MHL device) but with blank screen.  So to say, the TV has a signal coming through but something is in the way for the picture to appear.  It cannot have anything to do with the firmware, I have the latest version, have checked that..  I have also asked the adapter dealer to check this with other TV's and it worked.  I suspect there must be some tuning in the settings of my Bravia TV but what might that be?

Thanks for reading this anyone, hope I get an answer from some genius out there...

Regards,

Jon
