Connecting to server

I have a Bravia KDL-37EX503 and have a wifi dongle fitted. It can see the internet without any problem. How can I get the TV to see my laptop also connected to my home wireless network. I have done this before using windows media player. I upgraded my laptop to Window 7 now the TV cant connect to the server.
