Since the latest software update, my Sony KDL46EX723 will no longer recognize my External Hard Drive.
When I came to use the recording facility yesterday I got the message 'The HDD connected with USB port for recording was not able to be recognized. Please confirm the connection'.
I was able to Deregister my hard drive and when I tried to register it again I got the above message.
I have formatted the hard drive, Fat32 and still the Sony will not recognize the 350GB external hard drive. Could my problem be caused by the last update or have I got another fault?
I have tried the Factory Reset, it didn't solve the problem.
