I'v recently lost freeview HD on my ex503. Normal freeview OK and have tried manual and auto updates

Firmware is latest

Assuming your TV is ok, it may well be worth getting in touch with the BBC to see if there are tranmission issues in your area. I had horrific problems with multiplex 2 recently (ITV), called them up and found out they were doing work in my area.
