So I have purchased a vga cable (Pc Input 15 pin) and connected it with my Bravia KDL-46EX503 and Laptop. I have then changed my display settings to extend and then duplicate. I have changed my resolution. But nothing is coming up on tv. My tv has options of AV1,AV2 HDMI and PC but when I click PC it says 'Available when device is connected' - meaning the tv cannot detect anything. Can someone please help me as I feel that it was a waste of even buying the cable and I would really like to use laptop on t.v.
