PCMCIA Card Slot?

Hi,

I have KDL-40EX403U TV which has old PCMCIA like card slot at the side.

1) Is it PCMCIA Card slot?

2) Could it be used for wireless rangebooster cards to get wireless connection instead Sony dongles?

3) I have an old D-Link wireless Rangebooster N 650 Notebook Adapter. Could it be used in this slot for wireless access?

4) And how to I install necessary drivers on TV to use this adapter?

Thanks.

Its a CAM slot for encrypted TV channels. Not that widely used in the UK, but you wouldn't be able to use it to get online with PC peripherals.

Best to use Homeplugs - http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=homeplugs or similar.
