I have 3x Sony TV all 46nx723, 46hx823 and 46hx923 all which has the same problem with 8 standby light blinks.
All happened after USB updating to the new latest firmware PKG4.017EUA.
I would be grateful for suggestions as to how to fix them without buying a new AV Main BAT-L board as I have been told that it would need firware update after installation before it works and I don't want to risk using that firmware again.
I have also tried hard reset already and if anyone from Sony is reading can you test the firmware again as its crashing TV's after update. I am out of warrant so I cannot take it back and cannot afford your repair center cost unless they would fix for free.
