Playing video via USB from Sony Camera

I have a Sony DSC-HX1 camera. When I plug it into the USB socket on my KDL-32EX401 TV and try to use the USB Video player, I get the message "video resolution not supported". Can you help?

Hi,

Please go through your TV User manuel and check that what video formats it supports. It will only support those video formats which is specified there https://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/vmware_happy.gif

I said resolution not supported, the format is MP4 which is supported.

Have you tried connecting the camera to the Bravia using a HDMI Cable?

The HDMI adapter is supplied but you need to buy a HDMI Cable if you don't have one.

Have a look at the Camera Manual - Pages 129 to 131 here: -

I am trying to post a question on this forum but the site won`t let me do so-it keeps asking for a sub heading?

Anyway I thought I would put it here:

Has anyone managed to receive HD Freeview on this TV using its own inbuilt tuner?
