Hi there

I have not used Plex, so I simply do not know.  However Plex is just an application for a DLNA server, so I cant see why it shouldnt work.

Having a "very" quick look on the Plex support forums, they do have a 2013 Bravia profile for the TV (but may require some modifications of an xml file).  See: https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/78452-sony-bravia-2013-profile/?hl=bravia

The thing is - and this is not buck-passing - is that this is a Plex issue in my oppinion, so might be worth posting a message on their forums, or even contacting support.

Sony have their own DLNA media server called Homestream - which is built on the excellent Serviio platform.  See: http://community.sony.co.uk/t5/Blog-News-from-Sony/Homestream-Media-Sharing-from-Sony/ba-p/1262890

Hope this helps.

Cheers
