Screen Mirroring

Hi,

We have recently purchased the sony bravia tv w653a model. I am dissappointed to find that I cannot watch itv player or skygo, my fault for not doing enough in-depth research. I then learnt that it is possible to screen mirror from my phone to the tv which would resolve the problem.  I am able to screen mirror photographs but not the itv player or skygo. Can anyone explain how I do this? Both my phone and tablet are Samsung. I'm beginning to think we should've stuck to Samsung for a tv too although the picture quality and sound is great!

Would help if you have some more details - like phone model and Android version.

In addition, how do the photos work? I ask as screen mirroring does literally copy what is on your screen to the TV. Is that what you get before opening photos? Or, is it a kind of send-a-photo-to-TV type thing?

I can confirm screen mirroring (aka miracast) works nicely on Sony TVs..
