Sonia Bravia turning off

Hi everyone,

 

I have a Bravia which has recently started to switch off on its own then power light flashes red around 6 times. Any clue what this might be?

The red flashing LED is not a good sign.

Is your TV still under warranty?

If not the repair cost could be too high to justify proceeding on an older TV.
