Start up chime in sony bravia

The chime that comes on accompanying the SONY logo when set is turn on is very irritating. Anyway of deleting that noise?

Sony Bravia KDL37EX403-manufactured 5/2010.I already downloaded latest firmware.I thought that it could have an additional option to turn it on or off.Unfortunately it hasn't.

           As you have downloaded latest software, it should be possible I believe to turn it off.

I found the following on Sony Middle East website, but I think similar for Europe.

Maybe the name "Key tone" is confusing - but check in the audio menu if it is available.

Name "Key tone" was really confusing.Problem solved!Many thanks!I expected rather options like "chime off or on".

I have the same problem -- still cannot seem to turn it off and VERY anoying.. Where do you get the software updates from -- do they come down through the TV??
