Sub-titles - turning off?

Whilst setting up KDL32CXS523BU I experiemented with turning on the sub-titles. I'd hoped turning on/off woudl be easy as I have deaf friend who needs them when we watch together. Troubl eis, I now can't find how to turn them off! Help anyone?

Hi,

on your Bravia remote the button to the right of the nought, the one that looks like a tv with 3 dots in it, press that for either on or off.

your very welcome, but i should have said 4 dots!! lol, in any event i dont know why they could not print "subtitle" on the remote, i mean mines got things like "internet video" and  "i-manual", it would not have been hard to print "subtitle" would it!.
