unable to view films downloaded to memory stick

Films have been downloaded and viewed on another TV,Computer and playstation but a soon as i put the memory stick into the TV sony KDL-40w5810 it see the stick but no films are viewable. Remove the stick and place in any othe mentioned items and all the films are viewable.

Has anyone suffered with this and if so how did you over come the problem. Any advice will be good

Not all file formats and codecs are supported from Bravia TVs and that might be the case of the films on your memory stick. They might be in different file formats and codecs from those supported from your Bravia TV. One of most common file formats supported from Bravia is MPEG.
