I have the UWA-BR100 wireless dongle plugged directly into the TV and until recently things were working fine. But over the last few weeks the signal strength is highly variable and actually keeps dropping out. My other wireless devices have a full signal and the router is in the same room as the TV with about 5 m between them, no obstacles. If I unplug everything and then reinstate the signal is steady at 3 bars to start with, then after a couple of minutes it starts changing continually - 3 bars, 2 bars, 1 bar, nothing, then back again. I have tried extending the receiver using the extension base unit but the same result. The router is an ee brightbox, and as I say, everything else works perfectly. I tested a wired conncection and all fine. It maybe a complete coincidence but the issues started about the same time as the latest firmware update for the TV (late August) which was supposed to make the wireless internet connection more stable!
