A Pixex on my new notebook isn't working!?!

Just bought a new PCG-K115S notebook from staples and i found a tiny dot on my x-black display screen, after using a cloth i found the dot was not a dot but a tiny pixel which is not working.... im assuming this is a hardware fault... any suggestions?

you've got a dead pixel..although a majority of manufacturers refuse to change the screen unless you've got more than a certain number of dead pixels..even under warrantly.

I dont think 1 dead pixel will be enough to convince sony that it needs changing sorry

i have the same problem, though i bought it few weeks ago...i hope that zombie pixel won't tell others to die as well!!
Yet i'm surprised, since sony screens are supposed to be the best on the world...
ps i own a pcg K215M, quite the same model


pps: what does notebook mean exactly???my dictionnary is 30 years old, a time when computers were house-sized!

You need to have 20 in a cluster with Sony.
