Add second hardrive to vgc-rc102

Hi. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to add a second hard drive to my desktop & secondly where it is located in the desktop. I think it may be behind the silver panel but the only connections there look too small for a standard hard drive.

Welcome to the Club Vaio Forum.

Your RC102 already has two separate hard drives of 160Gb each (to give very quick access times) although they are shown as a single drive.

It does have 3 hard drive bays so you could add another drive if you want.

You are correct in assuming that they are in the silver compartment - it just contains 3 drive bay slots, nothing else. Don't ask me how you put another drive in - I have only been inside mine to put more memory in. It looks a bit complex - perhaps Vaio-Link can give instructions.
