AR21M driving me up the wall

I bought this AR21M a few months back for a client, without really paying any attention to the fact that it is running MCE.

This laptop needs to be joined to a domain!

I tried all the various hacks which didnt work, and think the best way forward is to install a copy of XP Pro onto it fresh.

However, it keeps on saying it cannot find the hard drives during setup. I tried loading the drivers on F6, that doesnt work either. Drivers obtained from recovery CD.

How can I get XP Pro onto this machine??!

Make sure you load the SATA drivers from the CD during setup

I have. I took the drivers from the Recovery CD.

It finds and detects the SATA Controller, loads the drivers, then continues as normal until it reports not being able to find the hdd again.

Even tried the 64b it drivers as I beliveve the CoreDuos are 64bit based.
