ar51su and 1080p help

hi folks,
Just got vgn-ar51su (full 1080p 17'') and tried to launch a movie on blue ray disc. Inter video launched a film but displayed it on about 1/3 on the screen size, even though i maximized its window. After good few minutes i realized that on the keyboard (Fn+F10) is a zoom key, so i pressed it and got my film to full screen-but was it 1080p??? I dont know, it was zoomed! . Very strange way to launch blue ray movies...

Does anybody have any experience with this laptop?

regards
darius

Hey there Darius, the 'z' button give you full screen. Maybe if you reset to default the display settings in the Nvidia to single and default in Vista Personalize>display>advanced>monitor>properties>details and see if the correct drivers are present in the pull down list monitor.inf:Generic.NTx86:Laptop1920x1200x60.Install:6.0.6000.16386:monitor\ms_0026
if not then the monitors need reinstall of the drivers but system restore point first (assuming Nortons lets you restore)
