Audio drivers error (BSOD)

I'm not sure which audio driver to install other than the factory driver.
I believe the VAIO uses RealtekAC97 audio drivers, so I went to www.freecodecs.com and usually update the drivers there.
I think the last best working and functional driver was "Realtek AC97 ALC650 Audio Codecs 3.74". The latest version out now is currently 3.76.
I've been getting these BSODs when I run Nero and then record my waveout. And also sometime ago when I was playing Counter-strike, I was having problems starting a game, and receiving these BSODs again.
And also, when I had version 3.75 installed I was trying to configure my MSN Messenger audio/microphone wizard and again I got the BSOD.

Can someone tell me which is the best and latest audio driver for the K215B? The motherboard is Sony Q-Project, right?
Does the audio driver have to installed in compliant with the motherboard?

Thanks.

There should be an update on VAIO-Link. If not, then tell contact the e-support and tell them about your problems. They update drivers only for fixing problems. Not for topicality.
