Can anyone help with keboard problems

Hi

I cant type in information properly now on either a web based document or microsoft office. As I type the cursor will keep on moving around when I type in information. It takes twice as long as I then have to keep going back to correct words and place cursor back in position.
Any help to stop this happeneing would be great
