This may of already have been answered on here, so apologies if so.
My partner has a Vaio VGN-NW20SF, and spent over 3 hours on Sunday trying to get it to connect to internet.
From the beginning then, have a Belkin wireless modem router, on TalkTalk. Everyone can connect to this no problem, but it is old and drops out constantly, so decided to but a new router. After reading reviews settled on a Netgear DGN2200 Wireless N. Took me an hour but got it up and running and proceeded to get everyone connected.
This includes 1 laptop, 2 netbooks and 3 phones, but come to connect Vaio and no joy. Finds router ok, but will not connect to interenet, Message is along lines of Cannot connect to DNS server. did some searching through forums and followed several suggestions, updated Vaio, updated windows 7, turned off v6 connection thing. All to no joy. Really annoyed at this point that i can connect a sixty quid phone but cannot connect laptop.
Would appreciate any help please:)
