Connecting vaio to bravia

can anyone help me please
i have connected my vaio laptop FZ21S to my 32 inch Bravia KLD V32A12U (1080i) using a HDMI cable and although the vaio desk top is shown on the TV when i play a blue ray DVD through the vaio the mesage ' Your display enviroment does not support protected content playback' and the DVD stops playing
any thoughts

Hi...I had exactly the same problem with my laptop ( FZ21Z ) and a Bravia t.v. When the connection is made via hdmi cable from laptop to t.v., press ( at same time ) Fn and F7. For me, the problem went away and the Blue Ray DVD played perfectly. I hope this helps.

HDCP will not allow you to play back protected media on two screens at once.

Unfortunately, both screens (TV and Vaio) is the default so, as Brendan says, you must toggle the output to the TV only by pressing Fn + F7.
