dead pixel

Hello,
it looks like I have 5 dead pixels on my VAIO FE 31Z pc. They are white and impossible to fix them even with techniques described here:

My question is whether or not I can use the guarantee to replace my screen or notebook for this reason.

Hi Tex,

It states on the Sony pixel policy for the FZ21Z that your vaio has a screen area of 1280x800 and therefore Sony state the Maximum number of tolerated stuck pixels to be 7

You should contact Vaio Link if:

* You have missing or stuck pixels being clustered in a small area.
* You believe the number of missing or stuck pixels to be higher than 7
