Does VGN-S2XP support SATA HD's???

Hi there ive just reicently bought a Segate Momentus 100GB 7200 HD for my S2XP which had a hard drive failure. Can anyone let me know (before i strip all my machine) if this will work with no worries on my 1.5 yr old Sony VGN-S2XP?

Hi Barrie,

Your S2XP has an IDE interface and I think it will require a Parallel ATA drive.

You probably need THIS ONE - not the one with 'S' on the end!
