driver problems running xp on a vgn-nr11s within virtualbox on ubuntu linux

I think this boils down to wanting the xp downgrade drivers for a vgn-nr11s they do not seem to be available from the sony site (I do hope I am wrong) if anyone can help by pointing me towards the drivers i would be very happy. P.S. It was the lack of xp drivers that led me to install ubuntu.

You're welcome 🙂
As you see I really prefer running Ubuntu.

But if you run XP in virtualbox, you don't need sony drivers for XP!
the virtualbox emulates all hardware! - the only thing you can add is vbox extensions.
Normally you can install them via a menu in the started VM.

If you've got any further questions about ubuntu on the Vaio don't hesitate to ask me again.

PS: there are no european drivers for NR series, It's a consumer modell, and Microsft doesn't offer a downgrade.
