E Series BSoD On Shutdown

Hey everyone. I bought my E Series Vaio three weeks ago. The Spec is:

i3 Processor

4gb ram

intel 3000 hd gfx

15" screen

500gb hard drive

As a Mac-windows switcher im very impressed with it.

A Problem has developed over the passed few days in which it will boot and run fine, play Eve online perfectly (at an impressive 60fps!) surf the internet, work with Dreamweaver, anything i want it to, until i want it to shut down.

It will run through the Shut down process and then as the screen goes black it comes back with a Blue screen of death telling me that windows was shut down to avoid damage to my computer and then it attempts to dump the memory. Both times this has happened i have forced a power off by holding the power button.

On the next boot the machine starts up normally only to tell me that Windows has recovered from a serious problem.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Should i be contacting Currys (where i purchased it from) for support?

cheers,

~horus
