upgrade to vista ultimate (i think vista business works too but i haven't tried it out personally) and download the language pack of your choice. if you already have ultimate installed then just download the language pack of your choice. i had a similar problem with an italian bought laptop and vista home edition (my italian isn't so great) and all i could get from the helpful microsoft folk was that you can't change the language in vista home. most people said it would be better to buy an english version of vista home. upgrading the os seemed cheaper though i did feel a tad cheated. hope this helps and best of luck.
