I am having problems playing "Fantastic 4 - Rise of Silver Surfer" on an XL302 using WinDVD for BD with updated version 8.0.08.123. It stutters then crashes after about 3 mins.
Older Blu-ray disk like Casino Royal and regular DVD's are fine
I also have latest Nvidia graphics driver (7.15.10.9813) from vaio support installed
I do know this Fox disk uses the new encryption BD+
Any Suggestions?

When Playback is not smooth: audio and video freeze or skip sometimes.
Depending on the hardware specifications of your VAIO, you may experience sound interruptions and/or dropped frames when playing BD title encoded in VC1 or H.264 with very high bit rates.
This problem may be noticed on models that play BD through software decoding (VGN-AR11S/VGN-AR11SR/VGN-AR21S/VGN-AR21SR/VGC-RC204/VGC-RM1N/VGX-XL202/VGX-XL302.)

So seems like Sony's -Top of the range Blu-ray Media Centre (VGX-XL302) is not up to the job of playing latest Blu-ray titles?
It's still under warranty - Need to contact customer refunds?
