Hi Dan and welcome to Club Vaio.

Sony make it clear in the specifications that they do not support VT on any Sony Vaio Computer and its operation is blocked in the BIOS. A case of Caveat Emptor - always check before you buy.

All available methods to activate VT involve a BIOS hack and will certainly invalidate your warranty.

Try Google if you wish to take the risk.
