how to enable again hibernation mode

Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could give some tips for my problem. I have a TX5MNW vaio with vista. May be a have changed some settings but there is no hibernation option displayed neither in the power management panel nor in the list when I leave the computer with the power buttion in the startup menu. Where can I find within vista the panel where I can chose this option again? Thanks, gabalint.

do you see the option when you choose start, then the little arrow pointing right next to the pad lock in the lower right corner?

Yes, I saw it. My problem is that the hibernation possibility is not there any longer.

Have you run disc clean up as this can remove the hibernation file and turn off hibernation..
